Attorney Jaitegh ‘JT’ Singh is the Owner of Singh Law Firm, P.A., a boutique legal practice specializing in corporate law, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, and cannabis law.
He brings more than 10 years of experience in the legal profession to his clients.
As the Owner, he provides leadership and strategic direction for the firm, creates, implements, and executes the company's vision and mission, and ensures the financial success and public acceptance of the corporate brand.
JT is also the principal litigator who represents clients in a broad range of corporate finance matters specializing in public and private offerings, broker-dealer formation and regulation, venture and private equity capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, and angel investments. His finance clients include public and private companies, institutions, investment banking firms, and individuals. He has also represented issuers, underwriters, and placement agents in a large number of private and public securities offerings.
He's an entrepreneur who fights for entrepreneurs. JT seeks out creative solutions to challenging legal issues and acts as a business partner to his clients. Prior to practicing law, he worked in Finance and Marketing. He knows the hurdles entrepreneurs face and demonstrates his value to them as a valuable asset.
JT represents start-ups, mid-sized enterprises, and established corporations in industries ranging from technology and biotech to manufacturing and government contracting. He has guided many businesses through the transition from a private enterprise to a public company as their lawyer.
He has acted as defense counsel in hundreds of foreclosure trials throughout Florida, New Jersey, and New York, litigated employment and labor disputes in federal court, engaged in securities litigation in New York City, settled landlord/Tenant disputes, is thoroughly versed in Florida and New Jersey cannabis laws, and argued in criminal defense cases in New Jersey.
His experience with binding arbitration includes arbitrations in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, and St. Kitts and Nevis. Previous transactional work includes acting as the Closing Attorney in a number of residential and commercial real estate transactions. He has also filed a large number of Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
JT has extensive experience handling complex mergers and acquisitions with multi-national organizations, including completing multiple reverse mergers and takeovers. The depth of his knowledge of international law extends to advising multinational organizations on the nuances of the securities laws and regulations in the United States, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
JT was born and raised in South Florida. He graduated from H. Wayne Huizenga College of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Behavioral Psychology. Following this he attended Downing College at the University of Cambridge and completed a degree in International Law. He then graduated with a Juris Doctor at Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University.
He's also a member in good standing with several US District Courts and currently practices law in New York, New Jersey, Colorado, and Florida and is a Certified Supreme Court Arbitrator.
