Amy Gillen joined Singh Law Firm in 2021. She brings over 25 years of valuable commercial litigation and contracts experience to the firm. After graduating from St. John’s University Law School in 1996, Amy began her career at Republic National Bank, and from there went on to work for boutique and mid-size law firms in Manhattan and Westchester County, New York litigating a variety of commercial, real estate, UCC and insurance disputes. She routinely made appearances in state and federal court throughout the New York metropolitan area.
Amy eventually transitioned to serve as outside counsel for a leading Manhattan PR firm for more than 10 years, where she gained extensive transactional experience in drafting and negotiating contracts for the firm’s prominent clients including Ritz Carlton, Colonial Williamsburg, the Cayman Islands, Target, Lululemon Athletica, Schwinn Bicycles, various Olympic athletes and numerous upscale boutique hotels and restaurants throughout the United States.
At Singh Law Firm, Amy represents a wide variety of corporate clients including international real estate developers, import-export firms, tech companies, and financial services firms in complex commercial litigation disputes, and international arbitration matters at all the leading forums throughout the world. She also engages in mergers and acquisitions, domestic securities law, drafting Rule 144 legal opinions and other SEC and OTC Markets compliance matters.
In her spare time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, needlepointing, and traveling with her family to attain the goal of getting to all 30 major league baseball parks around the country.
